Beautifully written, I cannot express enough how well this book was written.
Meh. Nothing you can't learn here by actually listenig to the album.
I'm astonished by the 5-star reviews for this entry in the 33 1/3 series.
Great addition to the 33 1/3 Series!
It seems that many negative reviewers expected this book to be more a glimpse "behind the music," and while this book has some of that, the focus of the book is much different and, ultimately, much more interesting than just what Kanye was snacking on while making MBDTF.
Amazing book series! Want more!
Amazing read, I love how the whole thing is dedicated to just one album.
really bad. congrats on self indulgent book more about your vocab and pseudo intellectualism than MBDTF
This one is much different than other books in the 33 1/3 series, which I love.

Beyond dull and self-absorbed.
Very Well Written, Interesting Take
This book is one of the best in the series, the text is very well written and the author provides a thought provoking analysis of not only the album, but of Kanye himself.
Loved it
I've been eagerly anticipating this book's release, and it did not disappoint.
